The Landscape

Spring 2018, University of Pennsylvania

Software: Illustrator, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Autodesk ReCap

I used a photogrammetry software, Autodek ReCap, to scan the surface of a tree bark and re-created it in Rhino. Then I wrote a grasshopper script to amplify the "ridges" and "valleys" on the tree bark landscape to remake the surface. The analog made from paper was created based on the key lines and section cuts of the re-created "landscape" of the tree bark.
