Growing Together

By situating a mix-use facility for the youth and the elders next to an existing senior home and community garden, the project seeks to create an intergenerational tie through the cultivation of food and appreciation for nature. Coming from the senior home is a quiet zone, where the path planted with scented plants that lead to a flowering garden. The scent garden and scent path will have a collection of herbs which can supply for the kitchen. The interior is largely an open floor plan, with a double-height kitchen for all users in the center.
